ELSE Elective English Classes

 

Monday – Friday - 4pm to 5:30pm

 

Would you like to focus on a particular area of the English language in your studies? ELSE is offering you the opportunity to do so according to your needs. Depending on the area you would like to improve, enjoy our elective classes to strengthen your weaknesses!

 

1.     Communication – B1 to c1

 

 

 

Speaking for fluency, listening, and pronunciation are some of the hardest areas for improvement. By enrolling on this elective, you will have the opportunity to practise your speaking skills. Teachers will pay particular attention to phonological aspects of the English language to help you perfect your pronunciation skills. You will also be able to debate on current topics and discuss newspaper articles.

 

 

2.     Grammar – A2 to B2

Grammar doesn’t have to be boring! Discover a fun way of learning grammar. Remember- you will need grammar for your exams! Having a perfect grammar improves your English for real-life situations, not just academic English, making it very practical.

 

3.     Academic Writing – B2 to C2

This module will focus on Academic writing skills such as letters, essays, e-mails, reports, analyses, summaries… You will also learn more about conventions used for this type of formal writing. Perfect for professionals!

 

 

4.     Business English – A1 to C2

Gain an insight on current affairs and British business culture. This elective is a  fantastic way to broaden your mind and be more up-do-date on today’s world as well as having the opportunity to know more about business practices in the United Kingdom. This course is optimum for students who are interested in improving their English for work purposes and want to have an insight into the British way of doing business.
